If you are using Nexium Delayed-Release Capsules 40 mg, you will need to take a pill. Take the pill about 1-3 hours before you plan on having sex. Nexium Delayed-Release Capsules 40 mg can be taken with or without food, but taking it on a full stomach may increase your risk of stomach bleeding. You should take no more than 1 pill in 24 hours.
